An invitation for community reflection

Last week we published a piece by ACNAtoo member Conor Hanson in which he reflected on the all-surpassing reason behind our work: survivors. And more specifically, one courageous young girl who inspires us every day.

As ACNAtoo concludes our first year and reflects back on what we’ve each learned, we’d love to hear your reflections as well.

  • What have you learned, either from ACNAtoo or elsewhere, that shifted your perspective on abuse in the church or made you reflect more deeply? Was there something that sparked an interest in doing some of your own research?

  • Was there anything we published that particularly stands out as speaking to your own experience or that of someone you care about?

  • Was there a particularly meaningful act of care or support that you received from ACNAtoo contacts or advocates?

  • What would you like to see more of from ACNAtoo? What sorts of content would be most helpful for you, including topics we haven’t addressed yet? Was there anything we published that wasn’t helpful or do you have constructive criticism for us?

If you write, please let us know if you are open to having your response (or part of it) published anonymously, or if you are writing just to the ACNAtoo team. (We will not publish any responses or excerpts unless you explicitly give us permission.)

Email: info@acnatoo.org

Social media: You can also tweet reflections to us at @acnatoo or reply on Facebook (ACNAtoo) or Instagram (@acnatoo).
