Cherin:

I so appreciate your honesty and sincerity in this email. I also respect the need you have right now to postpone a face to face meeting. You have been through so much trauma--I cannot even imagine.

I am not opposed to writing an email but I am concerned that whatever I express is carefully communicated to you. As I have said in our previous emails, I have not been sensitive or understanding enough in the past and I do not want to further that dynamic!

I will continue to pray and see how the Lord leads. Please take your time regarding being ready for a meeting--but when you feel you may be ready just let Katherine and me know.

Also, I want to touch base about your email regarding Val. Two things: I want you to know that I will be talking with Val about your concerns when I return to the office in late June. Also, I would like your permission to send that email to our investigators.

I will be out of the office for the next three weeks--on a prayer retreat, then a week of family vacation, and then bishop meetings in mid-June.

Finally, have you been in touch with Deacon Margie? I simply want to make sure you have the pastoral care you need in these hearings.

Bless you, Cherin,

+Stewart
