Abuse in the church is everyone’s problem.

Who we are

ACNAtoo is a grassroots advocacy group created by and for abuse survivors. We provide confidential peer support for those who have experienced abuse in ACNA contexts. We additionally serve as an ACNA watchdog and a resource hub for survivors, advocates, whistleblowers, and anyone seeking to create more abuse-resistant churches and communities.

  • Learn from survivors

Listen to the voices of survivors as they tell their stories to promote and defend survivor rights, needs, and interests for themselves and the broader community of survivors; to educate ACNA congregants, leaders, and onlookers about abuse in the church and survivor-centered response; and to publicly hold accountable those protected by ACNA power imbalances.

  • Learn from others

Explore educational pieces that illuminate topics relevant to the ACNAtoo mission. Learn from theologians, clergy, lay people, and members of our team.

  • Take Action

Change begins with you. Join us in concrete actions to make the Anglican Church in North America a safer place for everyone.

We are here to walk alongside you.

If you have experienced
abuse in the ACNA, you are not alone.
